I would say yes, we will most likely be experiencing this feature at some point this weekend. Well off to work, see you guys this evening.

yes that. Not worried really but when thinking about it i never heard of a beta with no server problems happening by the time we are supposed to play. I am preparing myself not to be surprise if I have to wait 3 hours minimum until everything works fine. Hoping everything works great though

I had some weird dream that was suppose to be about me creating a character in Gw2. No idea why but i was playing the game from my n64 and i was trying to make a charr but my character ended up looking like a tauren.

Do anyone know about the graphic settings in the beta? Since the last betas couldn't have the highest graphic settings, we won't be able to have it either :P?

I doubt it. And since we don't know how high the settings could go and the requirements for such, I doubt many could even play with it without sacrificing latency/game performance.

There is some ultra settings for things like shadows, I don't think its complete yet. Go to the beta log in screen, top left corner check it out.

I don't know if any of the previous betas have had the number of people required to implement the overflower server. Maybe that's partially what the stress test was for.
There's bound to be a few issues here and there...but there's not been many reports of major major bugs that prevent gameplay outside of really the first press beta that I can remember.
It won't be perfect by any means, but it should run quite well. Fingers crossed.

Oh dear, every time I come back to this thread there's like 5 pages to catch up to!

Also, I don't know if it's in anyone's interest but Jesse Cox will be streaming the beta (With the guys from RPG makers too), and afaik it will be his first impressions on the game- as he hasn't played it before. I'll be playing but it might be a funny thing to do or to look around if you're interested in streams =).

Hmm... This day is gonna be one of the finest; GW2 BETA and just 2h before the BETA I'll be watching Avengers (little fanboy left inside of me since the old cartoon series, and also liked the Iron Man movies )

Atm it seems like Desolation will be the chosen server, I'll create a guild there directly after I log on, which is directly when BETA starts couse I'll skip character options. I'll be named Lunde or Eldigt Kyligt Kungligt (second name if someone steals my first one). My account is named: Lunde.8573 (Think you can add this as Battle.net but not sure, if you can use this instead:P)
