What happens when you "recover" the gamertag from another xbox console? Because i wanna know if you just get to play on the profile or also get saved stuff like campaign progresses in games and such because im buying an xbox 360 slim and will i still have everything that i have saved?

I doubt it will restore saved games, i think its just achievements.

Nope it doesnt recover your saved games.
