What does it take to make the hockey hall of fame?

What do you need to be considered a lock? Awards, stats....

Championships never hurt. Stats are great too but they change by the era so are hard to weigh. I think longevity as a good player not even a great player that contributes decent stats and has a few rings could be good enough. I know this is a different sport but Dennis Rodman just got elected to the basketball hall of fame and he was never a great player but contributed throughout his career and won 5 championships. I think either stats or awards by themselves can get someone in. The combination of the two like I mentioned would increase the likelihood and maybe make someone a lock who doesn't even seem that impressive.

    500 goals, 1000 pts usually.

600 though seems more like the lucky number

only 3 players active right now i can see making it to the HOF

    Lidstrom, Selanne and Brodeur

Shoot your puck inside of the basketball hoop on the other side of the street from the ice rink.
