    Halp regarding monitor please.

My second monitor developed this problem just now, it's a 17" LCD.
When I press the power switch it turns on and shows what it's meant to but after about a second or two it fades to black, but the power light's still on.
    I'm using a pretty good PC (c2q, 8gb) with 2 4890s.

    What do?

It could be a problem with your dual 4890's. Remove the crossfire bridge and just check if the problem's still occuring with a single card. Then check it with the other card just to be sure.
If it's still happening, then I suspect a dying monitor.

Yep, still happens with one card. Must be the monitor going then as it's a good few years old.
