LMAO.. Because birth certificates from 1961 may not change over time? Just because YOUR birth certificate may look slightly different doesn't mean a damn thing.

The fact that the documents have been released, the Health Department director has VERIFIED them on a number of occasions, you can find his name on the list of babies born that day, AND his birth announcement was in the news paper, as was custom at the time. But let's ignore all of that just because YOUR birth certificate MIGHT look slightly different. What a joke.

Sadly I'm not amazed that birthers are now claiming "clearly photoshopped" and other such allegations. I do agree he should have done this back when the allegations first came up since it's a simple open and shut case with the certificate in hand, but I just don't see why it matters to begin with.

What if that person legally becomes a citizen of the United States, tells the country of his great ideas, gains the respect of the average citizen by declaring that both Republicans and Democrats alike are fools who have no idea what compromise means, and running as an Independent in an election, could easily gain enough votes to become President? Why is the only thing stopping said hypothetical person the fact that he is not a natural born citizen? He convinced the public to vote for him. What is so bad about him not being born in Texas or New Hampshire? Why does that make him unable to perform the duties expected of the President of the United States?

He wasn't talking about PRINTING money. He was saying that the higher the perceived strength in the Economy (the Consumer Confidence index), the more people will be willing to spend money, because they will perceive that the Economy is getting stronger, therefore it's a safer bet to spend money, rather than sit on it until the Economy improves. This increased spending encourages business owners to hire and pay more to their employees, who, in turn spend that money elsewhere. The improving an Economy is not necessarily increasing the amount of money contained in it, but rather increasing the amount that money is moved around, encouraging the flow of money, especially from those who have a lot to those to have less, specifically through jobs.

Edit: Obviously, this is an incredibly simplified version that doesn't take everything into account, but the bottom line is that Consumer Confidence improves Consumer Spending which in turn creates jobs. This is all good for the Economy.
