[Music] Classical Music and the modern world

So, today many people, especially young people, view classical music as "gay", "lame", or "boring." Classical music has stood the test of time, people still love Mozart, Beethoven, and Vivaldi hundreds of years after their deaths. I just can not fathom how someone could be ignorant enough to find classical music lame and boring or not have the attention span to appreciate it. Now, I love Metal, Rock, jazz, blues, and Techno but NOTHING comes close to the creativity and magnificence of a Classical composition such as Moonlight sonata or Vivaldi's Four seasons. Any other classical / neo-classical lovers out there?

I'm not a big fan of any neo-classical music really, but I definitely appreciate the classic composers. I don't listen to it that often but it is pretty amazing how robust and creative it is. Definitely more-so than anything written today.

My personal favourite since I was about 14, I'm 19 now and still love classical music. People think I'm weird; but they're the ones missing out.

If someone calls classical music "gay," their opinion shouldn't even matter. It's one thing to not like classical music, but to disrespect it is to be a musical retard. I have played classical music on the piano for several years, and I love it... except for Bach... how I hate to play Bach...
    Moonlight Sonata ftw.
