Hello folks,

Friction is a 25 man guild who is trying to push through the heroic content before the next expansion. It was initially formed by people from Laughing Skull who wanted to complete the heroic Lich King content before the Cataclysm expansion. We migrated to Auchindoun to try and receive more recruits - and successfully killed LK10 hc and Halion 10 heroic. Following this, we've had many ups and downs - with people coming and going as general life takes over, but with a solid core of players determined to continue. We're hoping to expand that core to more like-minded individuals with sufficient patience and determination to work together as a team.

What can we offer you?

- Mature officers, with a fair loot system. While we believe loot is a tool, we understand the requirements from players and the reason they play.
- 'Old School' players. Several of the members have been together since Zul Gurub was an end game 25 man raid. We progressed through MC, BWL and early, horrible versions of Naxx.
- An international team! We have many players from around the world, an odd number of folks from Denmark, Greece, ex-Yugoslavs and England. As well as several other European countries. All trying to speak English, while having fun.
- We have several very experience PvP players, of assorted ranks. As well as many aspiring players, hoping to develop in Rated BGs and Arenas.

We raid Wednesday, Thursday and Monday. 19.30-23.30. There are often alt runs on whichever days get the support. Considering that we only run 3 nights/week - we have comparable (if not better) progress than many other 25m guilds. We do in 3 days more than others do in 4. We may expand to 4 if we can get enough players who really want to spend that extra time devoted to learning.
At the same time, we understand that there are many things outside this world which come first. From family to work! So we hope for 100% attendance, expect 75% and get disappointed by 50%.


What are we looking for?
We are hoping for mature players. Currently we have a reasonable tank setup who are well geared and know what to do. DPS is in high demand, with some small healing space. We can adapt! We just hope for players who are active enough, determined and can get on well in a group environment.


What do we require?
- Players how can multi-task. Your rotation should be second nature, what is happening around you is most important.
- Have a high activity. We only raid 3 nights/week - so we want to make the most of them.
- Understands their char! We don't expect anyone to tell you how to play or what to do. You should be the top of your game!
- We want people who can 'treat others how they expect to be treated themselves' - respect goes a long way.
- Can communicate well. If you need an innervate - call for it!
- Lastly we are on 25m heroic content. Your character should be at least close to ready for it, with enough experience of raiding.
