Blah blah blah politically motivated post trying to make the OP sound socially/politically progressive.

A natural disaster is an unavoidable and to some extent unpredictable thing. All the things you listed were not disasters, they were tragic but they were actions carried out by people for certain reasons. It doesn't matter if they were seen to be stupid reasons or just reasons, the fact is people had complete control over these events.

It's not blizzard entertainments job to come up with money for everybody suffering in the world. Even if it was there are dozens of more worthy causes than cleaning up after yet another mistake made by some government or another.

Furthermore if you want to complain about American military actions and politics you're blessed with the ability to try and participate and make a difference in the government if you have some ideas about how to improve things. If that's the case perhaps a gaming forums isn't really the right place for such efforts.

Was wondering if there should be a pet for the million plus victims of the US invasion, embargo, and re-invasion of Iraq, tens' of thousands of innocent deaths in afghanistan which US invaded to get bin Laden who wasn't even there, and the victims of the school for disabled children which our brave military dropped a bomb on in Libya this week.

If you have a problem with the way the country is being run, use your voting privileges to do something about it.
