    Alternative VT dispelling options

    Just post your ideas....

personally I think Blizzard should stick with the "vampire" theme of Vampiric Touch and somehow cripple them if they dispel it. In the original D&D book, it's supposed to drain life from the victim. So here are my ideas.

    - If dispelled the victim the victim suffers X% energy / mana / focus loss and takes X% damage.

    - If dispelled the victim suffers X% damage and heals the original caster for X%.

    - If dispelled the victim suffers X% spell power / damage done loss and the caster gains X% spell power / damage done.

    Any other ideas?

Dispelling it should be the equivalent of getting hit by mana burn in addition to the already existing effect which should no longer DR anything, not even itself.
