What qualifies someone to do RBG's in your mind?

What you do is ask for people to tell you what they've done that they think qualifies them for RBGs. If they pst you 2200 arena say no thanks.

I really dont see why people think that arena and RBG is the same or that arena is better than RBG.
You can have 3k raiting guy in group but still if he fights with two guys and instead of interupting the one who is capping the flag he continuous to fight against those two or he doesnt report inc ,etc.

A sufficient level of gearing to prove that they are at least making effort in that regard.
I would say at least a full set of items purchasable for honor or higher.
A talk to them about tactics or their approach will give you an idea of their playstyle and understanding.
Anyone can grind gear given time, but many of those won't know how to actually play.
Arena is a small controlled environment with a fixed rosta of opponents identified pretty quickly.
Battlegrounds are not that, with varying opponents and your role potentially changing to suit the circumstances.
Arena rating shows some skill but not understanding of a totally different experience.
