need some help.

so i bought this computer and it arrived today, about 30 min ago, i set it up and when i go to turn it on, it lights up like if it is going to turn on. then the lights go off and it doesnt turn on? what could this be?

Considering it's a prebuild, it should work. I wouldn't open it to find out what's wrong (could void warranties), I'd just straight away call the place where you bought it from and tell them it's not working.
