About <Regen>:

Formerly <Genesis>, current raiding core has reformed as <Regen> for Cataclysm heroic content. After taking a break from raiding at the end of WotLK, enough raiders have returned and we are now recruiting for 25-man progression.

A brief history: As <Genesis>, we were the #1 Alliance progression guild since our creation in March of 2007 and maintained this position with server first kills throughout Sunwell Plateau, Sarth 3D, Malygos, Ulduar, TOGC, and ICC (H: 9/12 before we stopped raiding). We are back and looking to push content as <Regen> – we have had rapid progression since we reformed in February 2011.

With patch 4.2 rapidly approaching, we are actively recruiting to fill 25man raid slots while still pushing heroic content progression in 10s.

Raid times are 9pm-12am during the week, 8pm-12pm Sundays. All times are EST. Raid days include:

* Tuesday
* Wednesday
* Sunday
* Monday

Attendance is expected to be 85% or better for all raids. Loot is handled by officer council based off of attendance, performance, attitude, and recent loot.

Spots are to be earned on a weekly basis with selection based off of those qualities listed above for receiving loot. In addition to this, we regularly run a second raid group for our alts.

Our Expectations:

Our raid core has traditionally been very small and we expect several non-negotiable traits in our applicants.

We're looking for hardcore raiders with extensive raid experience. Don't waste our time and we won't waste yours. Every applicant should be extremely dedicated to the class and spec he has chosen. Consumable, gems, enchants, and even professions should be selected to maximize raid performance. Basically time or cost should NOT be a determining factor in raid preparation or performance.

In addition to dedication, all applicants should have a strong sense of self-motivation and a desire to be the best. Everyone is expected to give 110% effort all the time. That being said, however, it’s also important to mesh well with the raiding core. We have a team mentality while raiding and showing up with a poor attitude or a chip on your shoulder is not conducive to good teamwork. The ability to take constructive criticism is an absolute must as well. Basically, those people prone to emotional outbursts or deep cutting should think twice before applying, as there is zero tolerance for that here.
