Hi, I'm Bulldevil and I am the recruitment officer of Surreality, a Horde Guild on the Black Dragonflight PVP server. Surreality is a guild that was first created on August 9th, 2007. Surreality is a guild that aspires to experience end-game content while at the same time building a supportive, well-respected and lasting community of players on the Black Dragonflight server. We have a “fun and friendship first; progression second” philosophy towards raiding, and measure our successes not in terms of how quickly we can down bosses, but in how much fun we have getting there.

At Surreality we understand that World of Warcraft is a game and games are meant to be fun. Many of us have been in guilds that pushed progression 7 days a week, yelled in vent at every minor thing that went wrong, and even gkicked people to prove points to others to not screw up. We believe in the opposite. Providing a laid back environment where raiding is fun and doesn't feel like a 2nd job has helped us become very successful in progressing in every implementation of raid content Blizzard provides.

To be totally honest, we are at a point where we need to get some depth back into our roster. In previous expansions we ran a small bench of 4-8 people because we understand that real life stuff comes up for players or the fact that some people have a bad night and just need to take a night off rather than force themselves to raid and not be 100% attentive to the tasks at hand which is not fair to yourself or the other 24 people in the raid. Right now our bench is running low. We've had the pleasure of having some raid members going back to school to better themselves in obtaining a degree, and even some who finished their degree and landed a job that prohibits them from raiding in WoW. Although these players remain in the guild because it has been their home away from home, we are looking to fill their spots in order to maintain a fun and progressive guild environment.

Surreality is currently recruiting for 25 man hard mode encounters. Previously we had done 11/12 HM ICC 25 and 12/12 HM ICC 10 while getting drakes from both 10 and 25 as well. Now that we have finished both BWD 25 and BoT 25 in a matter of weeks, we are looking to push forward into hard mode encounters once again. Currently we find ourselves in need of experienced, smart, and dedicated players who can bring their "A" game for 3 nights a week, 2 1/2 hours per night. Since we only raid 7 1/2 hours per week, great attendance along with amazing performance is key to being as successful as we were in past raid content.


Raid times are currently 9:30pm-12:00am EST on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with invites starting at 9:00pm.

Right now we are openly recruiting to help build depth to our roster. Right now we will look at any class or spec that is a DPS or Healer. The only exception to recruitment is tanks as we only promote our tanks from within the guild which results in easier transitions when he have people switch specs.


What we are looking for:
*Gear should be Hard Mode ready
*3/4 BoT and 5/6 BWD kill experience with attempts on Nefarian and Cho'gall is a plus
*Maturity, we generally will not accept anyone under the age of 18
*Players who know their class inside and out (correct gems, enchants, reforging)
*Players who research new PVE encounters
*Team oriented (every player contributes, no one carries anyone)

What we are NOT looking for:
*Players who only raid for purples
*Drama queens
*Players who emo out after wiping to bosses multiple times
*Players who can't manage real life responsibilities
