[H] <Perdition> The Maelstrom 6/13HC Semi-Hardcore Guild
Perdition is a semi-hardcore raiding Horde guild based on The Maelstrom EU.
Recruiting:
1 Tank (not warrior, pref with a strong DPS off spec)
1 Holy Paladin
A brief history:
Perdition formed back in TBC from two casual guilds with the aim of killing Illidan; we eventually surpassed this goal and made it all the way to M'uru before everything got nerfed just before Wrath. During Wrath, we progressed though Naxx, Uldar, and ToC, however 25man raiding was beginning to take its toll and the guild went casual for the last part of the expansion. After a few weeks of playing Catacylsm, some of the old members got together and decided that with the new viability of 10man raiding we would reform and get back to the business of killing dragons. Since then we've grown a core team and have made solid progress through both the normal and heroic encounters.
What we’re looking for:
Most members of Perdition have real life commitments and it’s important for us to maintain a decent balance between raiding and free time. Because of this, it's important that we make the best of the time we spend raiding. We're looking for both skilled and focused individuals who want to progress, but at the same time don't want to be raiding every night of the week until the early hours. We expect you to have a good knowledge of your class and turn up to every raid on time and prepared (both with consumables and knowledge about encounters). As we keep a fairly tight roster, we prefer players who can make all our raids, but will consider people who can make ¾.
What we provide:
A strong raiding environment with a group of oddballs interested in progression. For most raids we provide free flasks and food (although you should always have your own just in case), as well as covering all repair bills for those who achieve the raider rank (both in and outside raids).
Current Progress:
4/6 HC BWD (Magmaw, Maloriak, Chimaeron, Atramedes)
2/5 HC BoT (Halfus, Valiona and Theralion)
2/2 CoW
Schedule:
We raid 4 nights a week (although this is likely to drop once everything is on farm), all times are server time (GMT+1)
Wed 20:00-23:00
Thu 20:00-23:00
Sun 19:00-23:00
Mon 20:00-23:00
Very occasionally, if we're near to a kill we'll try and extend the raid.
