MMO-Champion Starcraft 2 Tournament!

That's right! A SC2 tournament for us at MMO-C!

Requirements:
To play, you must be a registered user of MMO-Champion. I don't care when you registered, or the number of posts, but you have to be registered here. **EU people will have one too!!**

Round 2 lasts until Monday, the 23rd


**Alright. There is a very very good chance every single series won't be casted. There are a TON of series(24) and 2-3 games each(48 to alot). It takes me around 4 hours to upload each one, and a good 20 mins to cast each one.

So, what I think I'll do is have a third party review the replays from here on out, and pick out the best series to do.

99% because of time constraints, I swear!


However, all of the Finals + Grand Finals will be casted, without a doubt. **

Prize:
At the moment, the only prize is Bragging rights. But...there may be something else in the future!

However, for showing up you get a badge!(Even if you lose instantly!)




Format:
For the format, it will be a semi-random double elimination tournament. Also, how well you do may or may not give you an ELO which will be used to in the future...All games up to the Semi-finals will be a Best of 3.

It's Semi-random in the fact that I will try and make both halves of the bracket even, so that we will have a fair Grand Final.

Also, games will be played on your own time, but within a time limit. Thus the entirety of the Tourny may last a little while.




Map pool, and map selection:
For each series the first map will be set, and after that each other game will be Loser's pick. The only restraint on map choice for the loser will be that it has to be in the map pool.

The following maps will be in the map pool. This means that after losing your first game, you can select one of these:

Iccup Nemesis
Iccup Neo Enigma
Iccup Destiny
GSL Tald'arim Alter
Xel'Naga Caverns(Ladder version)
Shakuras Plateau(Ladder Version)
MLG The Shattered Temple
MLG Metalopolis

When creating a game BE SURE TO USE THE VERSION LISTED HERE. If you use the wrong map, you will be forced to have a rematch!

Round 1 first map is MLG Metalopolis
Round 2 first map is Iccup Neo Enigma
Round 3 First map will be MLG Shattered Temple
Round 4 First map will be ICCUP Destiny
Round 5 First map will be Shakuras Plateau.

Games:
As said above, all games will be a Best of 3 up to the Semi-finals. Also stated above games will be on your own terms(Along with your opponent), but you will have a time limit. In general, that time limit is 3 to 4 days. You will be responsible for contacting your opponent and setting up a time within the limit. If you can't get ahold of them, send Seam a PM over MMO-champion. The main reason for this, it to make it more flexible and not require everyone on at one time.

If you can't make a game in the time limit, warn a Tournament moderator(Myself only, atm) so that we can give your opponent a Walk over. If you do not contact somebody and don't show up, we may disqualify you.
**Note, a walk over isn't a big deal compared to being disqualified. In a walk over you can still go through the loser's bracket**

If this goes well, for future ones I'll work on getting a account to let people use.
