Ground Zero was formed late during Wrath of the Lich King with a view towards heroic progression raiding in Cataclysm. We are a core of raiders that are dedicated and sociable. We know how to have fun playing this game and we also know how to settle in and knuckle down for some serious wiping (and hopefully a kill) on a progression boss.
Our raid times are 20:30-24:00 Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday
Our Expectations
We expect of our raiders:
~100% Attendance
Stable, reliable connection
Fully prepared for every raid (consumables for entire duration of raid, understanding of fight mechanics and strategy we will use etc.)
Know your class inside out and keep up to date with theorycrafting on most effective specs/stats/BiS etc.
Have a working offspec (not pvp) as flexibility is key in 10m raiding
An attitude for raiding and respect for fellow guild members
An understanding that you may be asked to standby occasionally, don't whine about this...you will be given plenty of raid time.
An interest in guild related things outside of raiding ie helping guildies, using the forum etc.
What We Offer
We are dedicated to progression raiding however we offer an environment that is fun to be a part of, raiding is not a second job or a chore to us it is something to be enjoyed. If you meet our requirements as above then you can join our core team and enjoy the new Cataclysm content with us. We have developed into a great group of ingame friends and are looking for further progression in the upcoming weeks. We provide flask cauldrons for raids and guild repair money.
Applications
We require all members to apply to our guild for a trial spot. We will then assess your ability in raids before promoting you to a raider.
