Just found this, i haven't read anything about the game at all. I'm only interested because some Guildies/friends talk about it...what should i expect.

You should expect someone to shout at you for not searching the forum and seeing the 800 trillion rift-related posts. There's a thread dedicated to it you can check out for any info

It was not bad i tried it out. on anything less than high population servers rift invasions just wipe across the entire zone making it hard to play and travel to different areas. very annoying.

They had a ton of subscribers initially so they had to open up enough servers to support this. No surprise that things start calming down after the initial rush though, leading to deserted servers.
I hope they merge servers asap to keep the population healthy.
