    help with ram upgrade

I've installed new ram gskill [ Ripjaws ] F3-16000CL9D-4GBRM (2Gx2) and removed my old ram but i'm still running at the old speed and i think i need to change the bios settings to get the correct speed ? i've never messed with bios settings and have no idea where to start or how to do it.
    here is my system specs:
    cpu:I5 750 lynnfield oc'd at 3.2 via oc genie
    gpu: evga gtx 460se 1024mb
    mboard:msi p55m-gd45
    os:w7 ultimate 64bit

i'm only using the 2 sticks of ram

Do you still have the manual for your motherboard? That's a good place to start.

It's usually a setting like "Memory Clock" or "Memory Speed".
    Super casual.
