    Dont stand in the fire.

If a dps is pulling aggro or taking too much damage, I black list him/her and try to get the rogue or hunter to ToT / MD that person until they leave group
I usually bop em (or whatever the hell it's called now) meterwhores HATE that and either get the idea there, or die shortly. When i bubble you and you can't dps, that's your fair warning, same with lifegrip on the priest, after I lg you out of a stupid moment, if you go running back and do stupid stuff, I will let you die.

OT: if you have a good handle on what to use and when spell wise, and have 2500 in combat regen, and are hitting the 90-100k mana pool and still have this issue, I'd start examining the group (quietly) to see what's up, but if you don't have all that, you have zero reason to post.
Anyhow, armory or troll? Which are you?

Phyrix, that's right you are a SHAMAN, so wtf has that got to do with things? I have a druid, like 116k mana, is it relevent, nope.

you need to listen to blizzard here.. Acording to them all paladins can spam divine light a whole raid encounter and still sit at 40% mana in the end.. TRUE SHIT!! It was in a bluepost not long ago..
On a serious note, you're probably not geared to the lvl where you can chainpull a heroic wihtout going oom.. you'll learn how to be more efficient with time, if not tell your dps and tank that they suck!

Make sure that you are judging off cooldown.

100k mana for heroics, are you kidding me? 2 healers at 85 so far, and neither of them have had nothing close to 100k going into heroics. Come to think of it, my druid's below 80k and I'm not struggling at all on him.

In all honesty when I play with my mates I tend to just ignore most boss mechanics - they aren't going to kill me and it actually gives the healer (my m8) something to do. There are occasions wherein I'll be playing with PuGs and still accidentally adopt the same attitude out of habit/laziness/because I'm watching South Park on the other screen.

That being said there are times when we play 'who can take the least dmge' - fun game! Poor tanks, never win.

I really don't have trouble with bosses, for me trash are harder then all bosses in the dungeons.

But the main reason i am oom is because they won't stop standing in aoes, i even leave them die and they come back ready for more aoe damage.

Having melee dps in the group is like having another tank.

    Why?

Because sooner or later you'll encounter fights where people take tons and tons of damage they can't avoid. And the training you get escorting the mindless through Heroics is actually invaluable when you most need those stress/edge-cutting healing tricks you pick up trying to keep unruly groups alive.

Drinking after each pull? Not a big deal. Water is dirt-cheap and it takes like 15 seconds to hit full mana and be off on your way again. Most of the time you can safely let the tank and DPS run ahead while you sip a bit more, by the time you catch up they've just started to need healing anyway. Divine Plea between pulls so the 50% hit doesn't matter.

So if everyone's dying, great! Now we can practice! Pop cooldowns, let no GCD go unpunished, abuse the spell-queuing mechanism, knock that mana bar to zero. Stun the casters. Interrupt what no DPS can be bothered to interrupt. Tank ignoring aggro on you? Fantastic! Kill it yourself or bubble if it's too meaty.

No one shall die! Not even the ignorant! Not even if they manage to enter P3 of Ozumat with 16 Blight Beasts up! Refusing to kill Chains of Woe? Ignoring Faceless Corruptors? Eating 3 elementals in a row on Drahga? Ha ha ha ha! The pain gives me power!

    Epic post.

Yeah, tell them to stfu, and cc, and stay the hell out of the fire, and eat after fights if you are drinking. I hate having to drink twice because dps are standing around like tards.

Buying an epic or two and keeping them in your bags, or even equiping them doesnt a heroic healer make. A few epics might boost your item level to 329, but if your not ~ 2100 spirit, and 100k mana with some apporiate haste/mastery/crit thrown in your going to be going oom.

I had a few problems with mana effiency between 333 and 346. At 346 I was rarely having problems, (Shaman Druid) and neither are considered as OP in 5 mans as holy paladins. I am working on the pally now.
lol I have 1900 spirit and heal nefarion, Also lol @ your overpowered statement

next time someone dies in the fire use the guild perk to res them and state
"i will not waste mana resing people who don't move out of the fire"
basicaly stating to them you will only res every 10 minutes per person

I'm going to skip all the jib-jab between the first 3-4 posts and now.

    to the OP:
Post your armory link if you truly want help. Believe it or not, there are people willing to look over it and give you constructive criticism and even if it's only a few and you get a few flamers who don't help at all, you can just ignore them and skip to reading the good responses. Unfortunately I'm not a healer, not have I healed in Cata so beyond that I can't help. good luck! I know my first few heroics sucked...

My oom isn't a problem anymore.

I go oom from people standing in aoes or people don't cc.

I leave people die and tell them why they died, and i shall not waste my mana on something they can avoid.

The only tips I can give you are these: Judge on CD, DL'ing the beacon target is more effective than HL'ing him (granted you don't overheal like mad with your DL) and don't forget you're nice cooldowns, like HoP, HoS and DP.

At this point in the game everyone expects you to be geared enough to handle pulls without CC and without avoiding damage that should be avoided. Even if they aren't geared themself (they as in the tanks) it doesn't matter to them because they think by just queuing up and tanking a dungeon for the other 4 people in the group is doing them a favor, and they don't want to waste any extra time by stopping to CC or waiting for you to get mana back.
