    Heroic mode 10man classes.

    i recently made a post about turning into a 13man raid roster, for our 10man team, i was just wondering, what classes would be most useful on what fights,

    our 13man raid roster fully done is

    Warrior Tank
    Pally Tank
    Feral Druid
    Ass Rogue
    MM Hunter
    Fire Mage
    Boomkin
    Disc/Holy Priest
    Resto shaman
    Holy Paladin

    and the 3 on top
    Frost DK
    Lock
    Resto Druid

    I agree, skill above all. Some classes make some fights loads easier though:
    - Rogue on V&T HM for Twilight Realm
    - Hunter for traps on Cho'Gall, Magmaw, Maloriak, ODS
    - Heavy duty AE for Halfus, Maloriak

    - Raid damage reduction (Barrier, Aura Mastery) helps a lot on Maloriak, Cho'Gall and ODS.
    - On Chim raid healing (Tranq) helps loads

    - Atramedes only requires 1 tank. V&T and Elementium Monstrosity can be done by 1 as well. Have at least 1 of your tanks have a dps offspec.

    Depending on tactics:
    - Only need 2 healers on some fights so best is to have a healer with a dps offspec
    - A dps melee that can tank as 3rd tank on Chim
    - A melee dps with a few damage reduction cooldowns for adds on Nef P1

    Kilmir summed it up pretty good. Here some addionts from my side:

    - Huntertrap is also useful on Nef HC.
    - Feral DD is bad on Al'akir, Sinestra and Magmaw HC since you can't always stand behind the boss.
    - Al'akir also requires just 1 Tank.

    Always make sure to have the most important Raidbuffs with you, it's a huge difference. Don't forget 10% melee haste when you run tripple Melee, etc.

    Also, never bring more than 2 melee dps. Having more than 2 melee dps in T11 content just makes the fight harder for you.

    You lack replenishment and 3% damage in your main group unless people respec. Replenishment is 30k mana during a fight so it isn't strictly necessary, but for some of the harder hardmodes you shouldn't go without it.

    Oh hell no... we killed 11/13 HC bosses (didnt try the last 2 much yet) with a rogue, DK and warrior DD. The only boss where I would be hesitant to bring more than 2 is Ascendant Council, for the rest.... there really is no drawback in my opinion. Or what is your reasoning vizzle?
