GTA 4: EFLC Install Error

Hi guys,


I was trying to install the GTA 4 complete edition earlier, and everytime I insterted the 2nd disc when it asked and I clicked okay it came up with this error:



Does anyone here know how to get around this? yes it is a legitimate version and I did google the problem before i came here, it seems some other people have the same problem but i havnt managed to find a fix :/

Usually you get that error if he can't find a certain datafile on the disk. Try specifiying that new path, and look which file it wants for it's intallation. Then see on which disk that file is located. I don't know how many DVD/CD's this game has though.

The data3.cab file that it wants is on the disc two that i inserted :/

so i have no idea what it wants me to do

I have a similar problem but mine is while installing it sais: Erorr extrating some of the files Error:unknown Code:1
