I am currently 11/12 Normal mode, let me give a little back story on this. When cata hit I was in a 25man raiding guild, still am but have gone to 10mans, well when 25mans fell apart we were already at the end of February and so I put together a 10man within the guild. It has taken awhile to find people that click within the group and to start making progression. But in 30-60 days we have made it to 11/12 Normal. I am looking for a guild that is progressing through hard modes. I am willing to go Alliance or Horde and to server transfer. I am quick to learn fights and I will do what I have to to min/max and to learn fights as quickly as possible. Like I stated above I have been raid leading for several months and I have been studying hardmode strategies and learning those as of late. Sleepless Knights is over 6 years old and our main focus is building a strong raiding guild while maintaining a positive, friendly and fun raid environment. We are a very low drama guild that strives to uphold a respectable reputation on our server. We are a mature group of adults that share a common interest of having a good time while progressing through the challenges of WoW. Outside of our main 25 man raid days we keep active with a variety of events including weekly alt raids, achievement runs, group PvP and other miscellaneous events.

What we are looking for:
We are looking for mature players that are focused on defeating all the hard mode content available in game. We are looking for self motivated players that continuously strive to better their play. You must be able to play comfortably at the level required to do hard modes and be able to learn from mistakes and not make them repeatedly. You must be respectful and pleasant to others and be able to keep calm and level headed during progression times. We expect all players to have read strats, watched videos and asked the guild about anything regarding content they are not familiar with before raid time. You must be a team players and remember that the raid ‘win’ meter is more important then any personal meter you may be running, while we expect players to strive to do the best they can we know it’s the little things that can make the difference.

We are a very stable guild with extremely low drama. We provide a dedicated progression environment in a relaxed raid atmosphere. We prefer to have fun while working on new content and look for that mindset in players. Choice is a semi-hardcore raiding guild founded two years ago by a
group of friends interested in high level content in World of
Warcraft. We have a number of players who participate in PvP, and a
great collection of “Friends and Family” members who play casually and
enjoy the social aspects of life in a guild , but 25-person end-game
raiding is our focus.

Our Raiding Philosophy:

We are casual in terms of the hours we play, but not in how we
approach raiding. We work as a team, and every raider is expected to
contribute to the group’s success. We expect players to keep their
main toons in top shape for our level of progression with appropriate
specs, mods, gems, profession perks, enchants, consumables, etc.
Two-way Ventrilo communication is required, and raiders must have
hardware that will not adversely affect their play. Our officers post
boss strategies on our guild forums, and members are expected to
review them and offer feedback before we attempt encounters. We expect
players to demonstrate a thorough knowledge of their class. Nearly all
of our raiders are proficient theorycrafters who stay current with all
of the relevant class and strategy guides.

We’re selective in extending invitations, and we continue to evaluate
players throughout their time in the guild. We expect all of our
raiders to perform at a high level, and when members fail to meet
expectations, our officers will meet with them individually to discuss
strategies for improvement. Most of our officers and long-term members
are adults in their late 20s to early 40s and understand the need to
treat members with respect and dignity. We don’t, however, allow
consistent under-performers to hold back the entire group.

We strive to keep the atmosphere in our raids professional and
focused, yet relaxed. We enjoy some friendly banter between players,
but we try to keep it within reason so as to make the most of our time
together. Since we don’t raid longer, we have to raid smarter.

Our Schedule:

Our progression raids are Wednesday, Thursday and Monday from 6:00 to
9:00 p.m. Pacific time (that’s 7-10 Mountain, 8-11 Central and 9-12
Eastern). When we're working on particularly challenging content, we
will occasionally extend raid times by an hour. Our raiders are
expected to have consistently good attendance, and members who are not
able to keep up with our schedule (subject to occasional scheduled
breaks, of course) will be returned to regular member status. Members
who wish to return to raiding must go through the same application
process as prospective new raiders. We prefer not to over recruit or
to recruit benchwarmers, so raider attendance is very important. On
off-nights, we’ll schedule 10 person efforts for alts and our Friends
& Family members.

Choice finished Wrath with 11/12 Hardmode Kills in ICC25, and we had
roughly the same level of progression in Tier 8 and 9 content. We
don’t strive for server-first achievements, but we do expect to
complete all realistically available content, including hard modes and
achievements, while it’s relevant.

Hi Belawen, I saw your post on the official recruitment forums and responded there, but in case you are checking this thread out more often, here is our guild spam (we're 25 man and very active):

Apotheosis of Eldre'Thalas (PVE/EST) is a Level 25, Alliance raiding guild focused on 25-man raiding. We are currently at 4/13 (Halfus, Magmaw, Chimaeron and Maloriak down on heroic) and have cleared all 12 encounters on regular difficulty.

We're currently seeking:

1 Balance Druid (where are you, moonkins?)
1 Elemental Shaman
1 Retribution Paladin

Apotheosis raids three nights a week for three hours a night and we are the #2 25-man raiding guild on the server.

Raid nights are:

Tuesdays: 9pm ET - midnight ET
Thursdays: 9pm ET - midnight ET
Sundays: 9pm ET - midnight ET

All raiders are expected to maintain 75% attendance (9 of 12 raids in a given month, roughly). We don't have a "bench" but we have people on standby most nights. People are swapped in and out with regularity, officers, raiders and initiates alike. It is rare that you will be sat for an entire evening. Swapouts usually occur around the halfway mark of the raid, around 10:30pm ET. Guildies are expected to be online no later than 8:50pm ET so that we can pull promptly at 9pm. We use the EPGP loot system.

- Seafood Magnifique Feasts dropped prior to every boss pull

About Us

Imperium has been a guild for over 3 years. Most of us have played together on Medivh since the server came online in 2004. In WotLK we maintained a strong progressive raid team in 10 and 25mans with a very minimal raid schedule.

Loot Distribution:

Loot is distributed fairly through our DKP system. We use a system known as "Effective DKP". The system is there to ensure that EVERYONE in our raids is entitled to loot ( This includes trials ). There are also little ways of being awarded "extra" DKP through our system. ( IE: Limited donations, and simply being early for raid. )

Our Expectations:

We expect every player to show up on time, come prepared, and possess general knowledge of their class/spec along with the encounters.

Your willingness to interact with others and overall attitude will also be observed throughout your trial period. We put alot of effort into providing a comfortable raiding environment. We have fun with what we do, and we do our best to make everyone feel "at home".

Knowledge of how to get the most out of what you've been provided with is ideal here in <Adelante>. In other words, you should be striving to improve at all times. Socketing/Enchanting your gear properly, and keeping yourself up to date on any of your class changes is REQUIRED. Theorycrafting is always a plus. We will always seek out players that min/max.

We do require an 80% ATTENDANCE RATE at the very least. If you feel that you wouldn't be able to uphold your attendance or have any issues with our raiding schedule, then this is most likely not the guild for you.
