What I can't understand is why they pushed these changes into a hotfix rather than the scheduled 4.2 patch. The healing surge and drain life changes both heavily impact playstyle.

That would explain why my dps went down a tad :/. Thought I was just messing up or in the wrong presence.

PvP nerfs that will honestly affect this season's play; I'd say that that warrants a hotfix.

I dont play a shammy, im working on my shammy to get 85 and trying to heal and this nerf for 4.2 made sense since gear scaling would mean it might become to big a heal. but was is so strong that it needed a T11 nerf? or is one more PvP nerf that screws over PvE players

  15. #15
Why Drain Life, it doesn't even do that much damage!

Nothing OP about it, really. Just another case of PvE getting a gut-punch from PvP.
    Alayea - Enhance/Resto (Main) Lithala - BM/Surv Gekkani - Disc/Shadow
    Mathrie - Fury/Prot Mayae - Resto/Bal Elita - Frost/Blood
    Chrystie - Frost/Fire Draika - Combat Ioreth - Ret/Prot
    Vexbolt - Demo/Destro Yin - WW

I find it quite amusing they decided to stick the the overall damage nerf instead of trying to fix the PvP side of it properly.

This nerf is just a bullet in the foot, since we're not even competing for top #3 in competent guilds on damage done, and they decided to give us a nerf anyway.
