This game was absolutely fucking awsome back in its day, If it had goten more support it would have ruled, i loved playing singleplayer and im happy that its being brought back.

I loved HG:L. I played online solo and MP all the time until the servers went offline and hated that Flagship ruined a good thing. I never could play local solo, so ended up uninstalling it when the servers went dark. Hopefully Hanbit has all the info from the old (like Founders and such) and does something good with the property.

With only 24 hours till the Hellgate beta server goes live it seems T3fun have released a mass load of information. If you don’t feel like reading here is a TLDR version. (All info take from a released fact sheet.

Multiple Perspectives: Adventure through the massive world of Hellgate and combat demons in both first and third person perspective.
Six Distinct Classes: Play as any of six unique classes each with distinct strengths and skills, including Blademaster, Guardian, Evoker, Summoner, Marksman and Engineer.
Three Difficulty Levels: Play on Normal mode or take on the more challenging Elite and Hardcore modes, unlockable once you have achieved the level requirement.
Versatile Weapons and Armors: Employ a wide variety of weapons and armor which can also be dismantled and sold or used to enhance other armaments. Players can also develop their weapons by inserting “mods” which can be found, constructed or bought throughout the game.
Solo and Multiplayer Capabilities: Engage the demons of Hellgate alone or team up with others in true MMO fashion to take on the forces of evil.
Randomized World: Navigate randomly generated environments which compel you to explore new and unfamiliar settings.
Hellgate will also be launching WITH the Hellgate: Tokyo expansion as well as previous content (including The Abyss).

Click the gates of hell, and if you get in then it will say your courage has been noted. Its about a 50/50 chance of getting in.

It's not the same company anymore.. and from FAQ, for now, you wont be credited..but if there will be something in the future for players like you (with CE and lifetime membership) has to be decided. While I agree it would be really nice move, from company point of view, you are same customer as everyone else. They don't have single cent from you ...yet.

Well after the third try I managed to download the game and successfully install it but the servers are down at the moment. I can't find any inforomation on the main website but I found this: http://hellgate.incgamers.com/ , which says that the beta will only last from June 3rd to the 5th. Such a short time frame I'm wondering if they'll even get the servers up so I can play. It also mentions that it is intended to become free to play (who knows when and what a cash shop will do to the game).

So today has been dissapointing, well over 7 hours ago the beta went live, then in about 5 minute spurts over this time we have been able to play, other than that, constant server errors
