    E Pluribus Unum's History:[/B]
EPU originated with the beginning of World of Warcraft itself back in November of 2004. It was created by a close knit group of friends who wanted a stable guild, with intelligent and quality players. Well, no, not really. It was actually created by 6 elite nerds who wanted to dominate the world, which, didn't quite work out. So, they settled for a place where they could not only enjoy playing with others of similar mind, but to also create a great community, an enjoyable atmosphere to play in, and a place that people would call home.

Despite the changes in it's Guild Master, Officers and Members over the years, it is because of the community, the sense of family, and the feeling of home, built among its members that has given E Pluribus Unum it's strength to defy the odds and find itself still standing while others crumble and fade into memory.

    E Pluribus Unum's Philosophy:
This game - and this guild - is a place to come to for enjoyment and relaxation, but with each individual pushing the limits of the guilds capacity for Progression and remaining a competitve force on our Server. We expect and demand that each and every one of our members plays at their absolute best so that we can play on a schedule that allows balance with responsiblities outside of the game.

    Expectations:
Due to the fact that we only raid 3 nights a week, we expect every member of our guild to maintain high raid attendance. You should show up well prepared for the night ahead - including having not only the common basics of food, flasks, and being repaired, but also to have taken the time to research and be knowledgeable about any and all boss encounters. Always show consideration and courtesy to your fellow raid members, and always be respectful of others at all times.

    Requirements:
Maturity. We are primarily a group of adults - at least according to age - and every member should act accordingly. You should be a minimum age of 18 - if you are younger than that, your application must be above and beyond outstanding for us to consider you as a potential trail.

Team Play. We raid as a Team. Every member should always give their best every night - always pushing to further the guild over the individual wants. Many of our members willingly spend a little extra time and effort to help each other become better and stronger players.

Commitment. Every member should show up regularly and consistently to all raids, always prepared in every way possible. They also should strive to maintain and uphold our guild image at all times.

Knowledge. You should be a skillful player with a excellent grasp of your class and it's mechanics, as well as having a decent grasp of fight mechanics and how they will affect you and the raid as a whole.

    Recruitment Process:
How you present yourself in your Application is a key factor in how you are received. While we do not expect you to write us a novel, remember that some of the questions are there for you to demonstrate to us your basic understanding of your class.

Upon receipt of your application, you will be evaluated based on how well you followed instructions and the knowledge of your class that you demonstrate. If we feel that you have potential, you will be contacted for an interview, and based on that interview, potentially offered a Trial Position.

If you are accepted for a Trial Period, Members will then evaluate not only your ability and skill level, but also your personality. How you interact with fellow guild members and what you do both in a Raid, and outside of one, will be a factor. At the end of your trial period, all Members will be asked to assess and vote on your Membership.

If you are interested in joining us here at EPU - head on over to www.epuguild.net and go to our Forums for more information on filling out our application. You MUST provide a recent WoL (or similiar) parse with your application.

If you have any further questions, feel free to contact any of the following officers:
    Songweaver (Serendipitee/Satet/Mayet)
    Felinenima
    Kordrun
    Navira

You can also send me a Private Message and I will provide you with my RealID - or leave a post with the best way to contact you.

We look forward to hearing from you.

The Officers of <E Pluribus Unum>
