    [Books] GoT The hounds face.

In the books i always pictured the burned half of his face to be truly "ruined" like how te book described it. "a nub left for an ear, heavy scar tissue all over messed up lips, etc...
Why did they just give him one big scar across one side of his face instead of making it gruesome? In the book it added to his character and helped explain some of his actions later (the fear he had in a a few situations)
"There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs." -Paul Krugman

Half of his face is wrecked and horribly scarred from burns on the show. Maybe not quite as wrecked as the novels describe, but I'm ok with it. It still gets the point across.
