    which pc to raid on low settings

    i have been working at my new job for a week now and want to buy a pc, i havent raided since a year ago when my old computer died. im looking at Dell outlet desktops and laptops. im not looking for something to play on Ultra or to do multitasking on just raid for 3-6 hours a night. my budget is only 500-650$ here is what im looking at.

    Laptop-

    Please please please, don't buy a dell. I'm not sure how they work in the US, but deffinatly here in England, they are terrible (So terrible I haven't actually seen any dell's for a while except in movies...)

    on low both should be enough, my friend has worst and is not playing on low either

    But yah i agree dell suck :X

    okay workstation (just okay), bad gamestation.

    what makes them suck? i never owned a PC only a mac and i played on a Imac for 3 years so please give me some advice on a gaming pc

    Dell have terrible customer relations, the customer support is non-existant. if anything goes wrong it takes months to get anything fixed (usually by then you spend another month or two arguing about the vaildity of the machines warrenty.)

    And with all that said for some reason I keep recomending Dell XPS laptops.....


    If your "new" the scene then i'd deffinatly recomend buying your machine from somewhere "with a face" a shop you can physically walk into and cause hell if something goes wrong :P

    Does the $650 need to include monitor, keyboard, mouse and windows too? Also are you allergic to ordering from Newegg?

    If you can push the budget right at $650, for example this does not have any serious compromises and can do better than you asked for
