Wow threads like this take at least 3 or 4 posts before someone comes up with a useless comment like this. (And Macs are PCs moron)

Answering you're question Troggdor, yes you are limited if you want it to be free, but Snapz Pro does have a 14 day trial period so that might be worth a look.

The built in version I find tends to cut out if you have a spike lag and is generally just too intense for the game to perform properly unless you use a very low resolution.

Try IshowU There is a free version, but it places a huge green watermark on the center of the screen. The full version is 20 US dollars and the Pro version (which is just more features like compression and such) is 30 US dollars.

http://www.youtube.com/user/insolencehellfire all those videos in there have been made with mac os x in-built recording feature. Just play a bit with the settings.
you can see specifically http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8aKLF85wrv8 and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A7DN0mpI7No
the first was recorded with a macbook pro the second with and imac both were bought in 2009 so i guess with a recent mac the quality will be better.

Macs have built in in-game recording. Its under mac options in the ingame menu. Though it takes a loooong time to compress once you record. And you have to stay logged in.
