arcane spells going through pillars

so just played 3's i dont get why an arcane mages missles can go through the pillars yet nothing else can just asking any idea's it's just budmb

Any channeled spell will go through barriers if it starts in LoS

Like someone else said, all channeled spell do this and always have since TBC. This is nothing new.

Are you losing to an arcane mage in arena? Because you shouldn't be, arcanes a joke in arena. Having 1 spell school and nothing to offset interrupts.

The thing is, the whole point of casting Arcane missles is not the damage in pvp, or even the mana efficiency, but the ability to not get LOS'd. Penance does the same thing. I believe a while back that people were able to LOS channeled spells some time in vanilla which rendered it useless.
