Ash was created on Stormscale in Vanilla, but reformed at the launch of Wrath of the Lich King. We left Stormscale cause of long queues and server lag, and got a new home on Chromaggus. But the population and quality of players on Chromaggus has dropped since Cataclysm release, so after some research we decided to transfer here to Kazzak.
The average age is around 23, with some people around the 30-mark and above. Most or our members are Norwegian or Swedish, but we also have a few Danes. We've always been a Scandinavian guild and not planning to go international as long as we can find good recruits when needed. Many of us have been playing together for over 4 years.
Even though our primary focus lies within PvE and progression, many of us have a huge interest in PvP, alts and achievements and see our raiding schedule to fit perfectly in doing both arena/BGs, leveling and raiding on alts, and progressing PvE wise.
If you are looking for a hardcore PvE guild with 6 or 7 raids a week, you should not bother applying. We're focusing on quality over quantity. Considering most of our raiding members have jobs to take care of, and some have family. We realize some doesn't have any time to waste. You won't skip family dinner for world firsts here. But you won't continuously wipe on a raid boss you're supposed to have farmed for two months either. In our raids we don't want to waste any time. Your time is just as precious as ours and we're expecting you to perform at your very best, even if we're clearing trash or if we're trying a new boss.
