Hymn is a casual raiding guild that focuses on having a good time together whilst progressing steadily through the content available. Our raiding team consists of highly skilled individuals from some of the top guilds in the world, and with years of combined and individual experience.
We are looking for mature and purposeful individuals who wish to see end game content with a relaxed yet professional raid group.
We are currently looking for:
1 Tank - high priority, must have exceptional experience and ability.
1 Elemental Shaman - medium priority.
1 Shadow Priest - medium priority.
1 Mage - medium priority - you will need a high level of gear to challenge for this spot.
You should have
+ Extensive knowledge of your own class, including all off specs associated with it
+ Preferably raid experience from before WotLK
+ A sensible, mature attitude. Whining about loot will not be tolerated, and we expect courtesy and consideration when in a guild group.
+ A rock solid internet connection.
+ We prefer you to have a microphone that you are not afraid to use, but this is not a necessity
+ A thick skin when it comes to Ventrilo humour is a bonus!!!
+ We prefer raiders over the age of 18
+ Attendance - we expect you to show up to 75% of the scheduled raids to keep raider status.
What you get from us
+ A massively experienced raiding team that has been through all previous expansions and seen all there is to see of WoW raid encounters at the appropriate level (i.e Naxx at 60, Sunwell at 70 etc). Our members have been at the bleeding edge of raiding with some members boasting World top 5 kills, and many many Server Firsts.
+ Fair treatment of any concerns you may have about any aspect of the guild. Our officers will always hear both sides of any argument before making a fair decision about it.
+ A Guaranteed raiding spot. Whilst we may have to switch people in and out on a fight by fight basis, you will be in for raids. At the same time, you must understand that you may be asked to sit on some fights; all our raiders will do this, Officers included.
Our ideal candidate would be someone with real life responsibilities, but who lives for the excitement of the raid and the contributions required of him/her in a raid situation.
We welcome people on a Friend rank basis if they wish to join us for alt raids or 5 man heroics.
