Ret and escaping the Expertise, a prot mainspec asking for advice

I am the 3rd tank in my guild, so I frequently switch roles depending on the fight and how many tanks are needed. I don't have perfect access to dps gear
So I just picked up Akirus, and it shoots me up to 37 expertise.
I reforge out of expertise on every item except Akirus, and I'm thinking if there is a time to go for Crusader Strike Glyph, now is it.

You need a little more hit, but if you're at 27 expertise without the glyph, I believe Glyph of CS will give you a dps increase.

Of course, you are using -1 of the expertise from the glyph, switch switch switch. You should swap back to SoT when you are using more than 3 of the expertise (AKA 33 or less exp)(not sure if its 3 or 4, I think it's 3 though).

Why wouldn't you reforge off expertise on akirus? Mastery is your best stat and expertise is over cap, so you should get rid of that expertise (into crit).

Of course you can do as others are suggesting and just switch glyphs.

OT: IThanks for pointing that out slonato, reforge off akirus, that should drop it a few rating. Exp to crit will help out quite a bit, though I think you might get more dps out of swapping glyphs. Use www.wowreforge.com to get the optimum reforging after the glyph swap. It will assume you have the SoT glyph and reforge everything away from exp, but you can configure that somewhere to use GoCS.
