Oh, and I was curious if anyone had any extra buddy keys? I'd really like to give this game a go before purchasing.
Hexacore AMD Phenom, Radeon 7900 series, no problem whatsoever on ultra.

Add to that in SWTOR when you level alt you get to see the very same dialogues once again. If you do the same dungeon or raid once again you also see the same dialogues. If you do group content some want to see the videos for the umptieth time, some want to skip them, some are OK waiting for others. I fall in the last category, but only if it is their first time they see the videos. Else I see it as a waste of time.

Now budget is a huge concern for me as I have a baby on the way (my first!), and so, I would really rather not go over $600. Anyhoo, below are my specs...

    Coolmax 700W 120mm Fan Semi-Modular ATX PSU with Dual PCI-E - CU-700B

    DDR3 8GB 2133MHz (2x4GB) Enhanced Latency Kit

    AMD Phenom™ II 965 Black
    HDZ965FBGIBOX
I'm running slightly higher than medium on an overclocked Radeon HD4800 512MB, Dualcore 2.8GHz and 4GB RAM, so imagine you'll be fine on High.

I completely misunderstood your post then, sorry.

Sonnac said to go get a drink, and as a recruit, she's just trying to follow orders. I also like the jabs some of the NPCs take at you for not talking, kind of like the game is making fun of yourself.
Did you talk to the knight of the circle after you've completed this quest? I found him to be outstanding even in the world of outstanding npcs.

I suggest taking it to http://www.mmo-champion.com/forums/290-Computer subforums. They'll help you pick the best bang for buck atm.

As a sidenote - it's an MMO so unless I'm gravely mistaken CPU is far more important than GPU in MMO-specific builds so I'm not sure if this AMD will be good enough. To the Computer subforums, at once!

What are some decks that people are using for Dragon?

I'm thinking of joining Dragon, but haven't decided on a deck yet.

    ---------- Post added 2012-07-18 at 05:27 PM ----------

Or maybe I should go for Templar as I hear they're pretty awesome looking...

  7. #2167
Templar do have the best looking outfits in my opinion.

  8. #2168
Honestly I think you should pick the faction that fits your personality the best. I thought I was going to like Illuminati, but it turns out the Templars had an outlook that fit me more. The new Templars are trying to get rid of the stuffy old style and inject some youth and technology into the organization, yet still trying to fight for the greater good for good's sake.

Illuminati just came across as sore losers almost, like they're just fighting bad because bad caught them unawares.

And chaos is kind of crazy bunch to put it mildly

My part in this story has been decided. And I will play it well.

I found Dragon to be the most interesting. But then I kind of like the chaos theory.

I agree. Even if I may prefere Templars, Dragons are the interesting ones.

Well at the start the guy basically says they are terrorists ... but they do just small stuff. And I immediatelly go wait a minute - I don't really want to play a terrorist But the game is not really giving you a choice does it ... it's interesting to say at least.

Is it me or The Girl Who Kicked The Vampire's Nest is a pretty retarded jump in difficulty?

Yeah that is a tough one, I ended up skipping it.

Yeah that one's a bitch. I've been questing in groups here lately so it wasn't undoable, but most of Transylvania is easier to do in groups than solo anyways.

I had to go full retar... erm full mitigation for this quest. Finally managed to kill the first 16k melee brother vampire and died right away. Others were easier and I could've soloed it which isn't a huge deal being a full mitigation sword tank with 3 selfheals and two shield-walls but yeah, went faster with a fellow templar dude. I blame the retarded energy debuff that ticks for 200 and seems to drop my 7k ass (just sayin, 7k is nothing I get it) in seconds.

Animations mentioned before some ppl have issues with them and they can be better to be frank.

Combat you need to get more abilities to get more interesting rotation.
First of all I figured out the magic thing. Now playing an Elemental type of chick on Illu side. I never said I wanna have TOR VOs or dialogue option and still wont listen to story. I just said it feels like TOR without the options to pick an answer which is a good thing. However, due to TOR and cutscene skipping I'm tired of VO for every single quest in a game. To put it in a neutral way: It is great for people who actually want to embrace the story. It is just not my type of feature I wanna see in a game right now.

So I played a little bit longer, still in Kingsmouth, still figuring things out, although yet frustrated by the state of pvp as it is right now. What I complain about is Funcoms way of "buffing" people to get them on par with everyone else. Problem is it doesnt work. TOR did this in a better way (one of the rare highlights of the game). It is just weird when you enter stonehenge and get 1 shotted by someone.

About the combat: I know where Funcom is going with the current system as it feels like a GW/GW2 copy. That isnt a bad thing because 7 abilities should be enough to work and have fun with it. However, the game, at least for me, is too slow for that limitation. I would have loved a more fast paced type of combat

Oh and what drives me nuts is the ability queuing system. You know, when you button mash 1 to build up and then hit 2 and not ability 2 but 1 goes off because of your button mashing ability 1 is somehow queued? That sucks. Especially when you build up stacks till 7 which results in guaranteed crit and you want this crit to happen when you use your big spender.

Anyway, there are still points to complain about, at least for me. However questing is somewhat new and refreshing and it is utterly weird when you get a quest and there are no clues whatsoever because you have to investigate Funny and new thing.

Oh, and I love the ingame browser. Watching porn while chatting with your friends ingame? Epic.

And I was kidding ...about the chatting. I have no friends.

Again, just kidding. Or am I?

  19. #2179
Well it is also the fact that those named people you have to kill have 4 different non-purgeable buffs on them. They are like the Nightmare mobs that you encounter later on even though they aren't named as such.

I agree that the pvp may be a bit weakish in TSW and the ability queue is weird to say at least. Once rated wz solo queue gets to TOR I may look at that game again. The pvp there is not half bad.
