If you get the 60€ version you get everything in the game except 1.12 but you get enough points while leveling to buy one extra issue and I bought that. You don't need the 30€ version.
If you buy the 30€ version you need to buy each issue for points (comes up to 10€ each)
However you don't need to buy everything if you want to play together with your friends except in newer content like if they go to Tokyo you'll need 1.9 through 1.11 to follow, or if they do The Last Train to Cairo you'll need 1.6 etc.
Don't spend your black bullion on anything below Q10, it's not worth it, game is perfectly ok with just quest greens (well before Tokyo anyway). Also don't buy major talisman, ring, belt or occult talisman with bullion, you get Q10.1 from quests (provided you have all issues).
Sell anything below Q10 to vendors, disassemble only Q10 stuff.
If at all possible don't do missions above Normal difficulty (eg Hard, Very Hard etc). Not only are you getting absolutely no benefit, but are also penalized in the XP gained if you do (only 95% for Hard, 85% for Very Hard, peanuts for anything above). The opposite is not true - Very Easy missions still give full XP.
Level your skills 2 to 1 in Weapon/Talismans (by the time you hit 10 on your chosen weapon all 3 talismans should be 5 at least). I personally leveled one weapon to 10 and leveled the second alongside the talismans.
While you level ravaging glyphs (hit/penetration) are all you'll ever need. Really you don't need anything else before Q10 gear or unless you intend to tank/heal.
It's impossible to mess up your build so bad as to not be able to continue. You can always repeat quests for more XP and invest in different skills if you don't like your build though.
You get speed increase to sprint from your faction vendor. The first 2 are at faction level 2 and 4 iirc. You have to buy them in order - as in you can't buy Sprint IV before buying Sprint II and Sprint III.
