What Guild Wars 2 Class Will You Roll?

As the title says, I'm curious about what profession you will roll when Guild Wars 2 rolls around. Personally I am going with a necromancer, most likely Asura. If I decide it does not seem fun I will probably do a Norn thief since I loved the Assassin play in Guild Wars 1. Since we only know about 7/8 professions, I will put a placeholder for the 8th.

I think I'll roll a Guardian and play it like a Battle Mage.

I'll either start off with a Charr Warrior or a Sylvari Engineer though.

Charr Warrior followed by Norn or Sylvari Ranger

Probably a Human or Charr Elementalist. After that, probably a Guardian (not sure which race).

I like Martial Arts classes and the Thief is the closest thing to it.

If they still manage to introduce a Monk/Friar/Disciple type Martial Arts class I'll roll with that instead.

well the 8th class is gonna be mesmer, I'm sure of it, so that. The mesmer was really fun in GW1, you could completely lock down opponents and deal some decent damage at the same time.

Never played a mesmer, but I heard they were good at pvp. To be honest I just started playing 2 days ago. Got an assassin to 20 and a necromancer to like 10ish. I read up on Guild Wars 2 on that one "official" thread and I was hooked in, so I just went on steam and bought the 3 main campaigns. Was only 30 bucks too.

But my main is going to be the Necromancer followed by warrior

I was sure I would roll necromancer..... Then I saw engineer...... Now I have to pick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I always loved alchemist when it would pop up in the ff games. Engineer has some similarities with alchemist. Just seems like an ultra versatile class.

I will probably try both and pick which ever I like the most.

The sad thing is how overused the Charr will be, similar to worgen. They are cool, but WAY too many people do it because they think it is the cool thing. The only Charr I will have is a warrior since I think that it fits.
