Nerfed At Birth - Ghostlands - US 6/12 - Rebuilding Core Raiding Crew
About Us:
Nerfed At Birth of Ghostlands (Level 21) is currently rebuilding and redefining the type of guild we want to be. We currently have 5 solid raiders and our goal is to find 5-7 more people who live for raiding like we do. Our primary goal will not be server firsts, initially, but building a raiding environment where accountability and dedication are at the core of each and every raider. We will build a tight-nit, fast-paced, highly-disciplined raid team that strives to raid progressively on each and every pull.
Raid Times
Wednesday - 7PM ST to 11PM ST
Thursday - 7PM ST to 11PM ST
Sunday - 7PM ST to 11PM ST
Monday - 7PM ST to 11PM ST
ST = Server Time and 7PM is the time we pull the first boss. That doesn’t mean login at 7PM and expect to raid. We will take a 10 minute (snack/bio/put the kids to bed) break around 8:30 if necessary. Occasionally, we may go past the normal stop time if we are close to downing a new boss.
What we are looking for from you:
We are looking for the player who is versatile, dedicated, and plays this game to RAID. Currently, we have 5 players who are committed raiders and are quite capable of performing at a higher level. Now we are looking for 6-7 solid players to strengthen our raid team. Gear is not as important as ability and raid awareness. We can and will gear you. Just bring a good attitude, raid awareness, and know your class. The rest will take care of itself.
This is going to be a competitive raiding environment. Initially, I fully expect this to be difficult to manage but as we start making progress we will get people who want your spot. It is up to your to maintain your performance and fix problems you have. If you make a mistake, own up to it and fix the problem. If you don’t understand an encounter or strategy, ask before we pull.
You will know and understand the abilities/strategies of the encounter BEFORE we make the initial pull.
You are expected to make 90% of all raids. If you can’t make it you must let your raid leader or GM know. To prevent us from sitting around with our thumbs up our butts we will recruit a few roles that are rotating. The people who fill these roles should be able raid at a higher level as well. These folks will be able to step in when one of the core members of the raid team are unable to go due to work or family issues that come up.
Raiding Positions Available:
Tanks - 2 Core and 1 Rotating
Healers - 2 Core and 1 Rotating
Melee - 1 Non-Rogue and 1 Rotating
Ranged - Spriest with healing offspec
Loot Distribution:
We do not believe in loot council and have seen it used to gear up friends and favorites or just misused on many occasions. We do not currently use any kind of DKP system at this time. It is expected that raiders will know what is best for their toon and only roll on gear that is needed or is most beneficial to the group as a whole. At some point we may consider DKP to help bolster attendance, but a DKP type of system is not expected in the foreseeable future. With that said, if it was determined that you are being selfish and rolling on loot when someone else in the raid would benefit from it more, you will be asked to pass it to them for the good of the group.

Apply at nerfedatbirth.guildlaunch.com or contact a member of Nerfed At Birth in game and they can direct you to an officer or the GM.
Note:
If you apply without gems or enchants you will be ignored and declined immediately. No exceptions. We want to raid with people who actually care about their toon and its performance. You will be given an opportunity to show your skills with the guild and the rest of the team to determine if you are a fit in our group.
