P8-p67-m hdd?

Hi, I just finished building my comp using the Asus P8-P67 Mobo. I ran windows 7 first with the SSD so I can have that and some other programs on it. Now, I want to install other programs onto my HDD. However when I plug in the HDD's SATA cable and boot up, it doesn't show up in my "Hard Disk Drives" but my SSD shows up just fine. However when I go into the Advanced Bios > Sata Configuration it shows my SSD. HDD, and dvd drive. I don't know why my harddrive won't show up if the BIOS detects it.. Help

Go to your start menu, right click computer. Go to manage. Disk Management. Then rescan disks and format it.
