Some people on GD reported that Jarvan's EQ knockup was stealthed nerfed to half of it's normal duration, and other reports say that Lulu's R knockup know lasts twice the normal duration. If that nerf is intended, then that's a low blow.
ETA: A red said that is unintended behavior, and will be fixed as soon as they can. I hope we don't have to wait for an entire patch to fix that, or worse, wait 2 fucking years to fix it ala Tryndamere and Heimerdinger fixes.
OK. Thresh's theme was utterly awesome, but the new login screen is great in a completely different way... Riot just keeps raising the bar.
People really need to stop blaming them losing the lane on the enemy champion. Playing Garen some more because of his new skin(not crazy about the armor, but the new effects make it hands down his best skin), and the other guy just keeps commenting sarcastically on how Garen is such a hard champion to play. Gee I know I'm not playing Orianna or Lee Sin, but if you're gonna use that as an excuse to why you lost then either jungle/support only or stop playing. You're gonna fight Darius/Garen/Yorick/Kha'zix/Kayle/etc at some point of time you're playing and if you decide to just blame your losing on the champion instead of learning how to deal with them then you'll never get any better.
The guy would just run up to me to try to do damage to me when it was obvious there was no way he was gonna come out ahead of a trade. He also built the wrong items and refused to just play passively. At one point he had to flash away from me pre6 because he was low on hp and ran right next to me to try to get a creep. If the match up is bad then go in with the "I just want to survive this lane" mentality and not the "I want to try to fight" one. Sure I hate fighting Darius when I'm something that doesn't do well against him, but I just focus on not allowing him to get kills on me and surviving the lane. I may not end the laning phase with the highest CS ever, but I'll still be able to make a comeback if I played my cards right and farmed jungle/roamed when the wave was in a bad spot and force him to push the wave to make me come back to lane.
After losing 6 matches in ranked, trying to do my 10 games i won one
Dignitas just had to forfeit versus Curse because of lag. Sad. I was really looking forward to that finale.
Currently at 2 wins 2 losses after my first 4 placement games. The games I got ADC I was able to do well in lane and win, when I was forced into jungle and top I still did decent but wasn't able to do as well and lost.
The new elo system is terrible. I've been matched with incredibly terrible teammates for the last 3 games. They played as if they were level 15. No teamwork, all feed. Pre-season 3 it was great. My teams actually did something.
Sure having shitty team mates suck, but you got to remember sometimes you win the game because the other team has the feeders and sometimes you still win even when a couple members weren't that great. You cant expect all of your games to have everybody going at least even. I find it best to just do a rant on a horrible game to get it out of my system and then forget about it. Because in the end I also have games where I lose my lane and don't preform well.
Nobody's perfect and I think I might die from optimism overdose. If I don't make it please tell Teemo he was always my favorite.
some champions can not play vs other champions unless they get terribly fed/reach end game etc. that said Garen isn't particularly strong vs a set amount of champions. he is however generically good at what he does but lacks a hard gap closer which is almost a prerequisite of a top in the current meta today.
I do not see how Garen is any easier to play than any other top champion tho. they all pretty much lack skillshots and exotic manipulation of the environment in your favour.
If I lose lane just in terms of CS and I still have the ability to become something for late game then I consider my job done in a countered lane even if my tower is gone as long as I make sure to warn people when the guy tries to roam. If I die multiple times because I misplayed it then I consider it my fault and don't just blame it on being counterpicked.
Also I feel that S3 has done a good job at making it easier to handle being counterpicked. Now you can start with a massive amount of sustain and if worse comes to worse just get a Warmogs or Sunfire as your first item. Sure your damage will be low, but you'll get more gold overall if you can survive them. Or you could just do what Voyboy does and build both and somehow still be able to kill people.
On another topic, Seeker's Armguard. Seriously that item looks amazing for the cost of it.

MILLIONS OF YEARS LATER: Everyone figures how awesome he is. Am I just uninteresting or what
Also to answer a previous question; I thought Styles was you. It was shortly after he came back.
He was being all "i suck now qq", and I was like "lol nope", the end.
Seeing a lot more of Hecarim in ranked Silver D3 - D1. What gives? I hate the horse..
