Riot takes inspiration from other games and media. They just don't mention it because they could get sued. It was fine when they were a smaller studio but now that they're huge. Riot doesn't take risk like that anymore.

Maybe its to remind them of their past and riot will establish a connection between them and the new champion.

Or maybe you're thinking about this too hard? Given where each of the victims appear to be shot and the eastern theme to the wounds, I'd have said Riot are trying to lead people to to the Three Wise Monkeys. Zed being See No Evil, he lives in shadows and got shot in the eye. Sona being Speak No Evil, because she can't talk and got shot in the throat. Garen being Hear No Evil, getting shot in the ear and his rather unfortunate habit of telling people which country he's from as loud as he can. And Vi being Do No Evil, as a reformed criminal turned Police officer. Do No Evil is also, sometimes, refered to as "Have no Fun", and Vi does seem to enjoy her new work a little bit too much.

Or failing that, Deadeye could be an anthropomorphic four armed duck from a 90's TV show. Who knows?

I could be wrong or overthinking it but just hyped and trying to have fun... but your duck theory is quite solid. Duck is spelled with 4 letters and 4 champions were attacked. Warcraft 4 confirmed but with ducks.

Have you noticed the dark shadows and mists are on all teasers? It's not just in Zed's.

By all means continue. I honestly enjoy reading through the findings of people that go into this, but at one point you got all the information you can get, and then it's just 'wait and see'.

I'm not so big on new champion releases lately, because all of these new champions are beyond me. I don't get half of their mechanics, and don't have the motivation to figure them out.

As far as people have figured it out it seems the new champion will be a Djinn or something. Apparently it's a genie of some sorts that grants wishes, but with a heavy price attached.

I think if in the new VI teaser she have a "wound" in the belly this is about chakras.

Well that would be kinda boring. Then you just have a global Cait ult which becomes a lot harder to dodge in lanephase for example.

Could also just ba a simple Q skillshot with a debuff for example. Doesn't have to have anything to do with a sniper at all. Or hell, guns for that matter.

There are 4 champions in this trailer. 4 is one more than 3. half life 3 confirmed.

I've got nothing. I do like the new bits of art coming out though. Wonder if we'll get some skins, or skin variations (like tattoos or battle damage, since chromas failed to take hold) from it.

Tbh i don't even care about his/her kit anymore, i just want to see what the champion is. I've been trying to figure it out and it's driving me crazy. The kalista one was kinda easy if you knew anything about the lore, but on this one i got nothing.
