Tetris. How good are you?

So I just had a riveting game of Tetris and I was wondering how my score would compare to the MMO-Champ crowd.

I played it on this site.

All you need to do is start a game at level 1 and post your score.

I got to level 8 with a score of 18,840 and 78 lines cleared.

I look forward to seeing the results

Game's engine is pretty messed up imo. Detects block placement way too early in comparison to the initial version of Tetris. :S

on the gameboy i was a a level 9 high 5 champion, best effort was 4 tetrises (cleared 4 lines in 1 go, 4 times in one game) - no idea what the score was, it was years ago

Also, as far as how good I am, I am confident that I am pretty good. I remember a gaming store I used to frequent on rare occasions having a Tetris tournament and I finished in second place. It was 4-for-all and my opponent just ended up getting some very good bonus blocks against me. He was a friend of mine though, so it was cool and a whole lot of fun.

I'll give this one a try after my random dungeon, but I remember, hmm, about 18 years ago on the original gameboy i got to around 135 lines, thing was bloody fast by that point, never got more than say 135-137 lines, no matter how hard i tried

Wow this version is hard in the end becuase it doesn't like it when you hold down a direction key. Individual presses ftl.

Got to about 70k when I forgot the previously mentioned fact when I tapped spacebar and ruined my build.

Also, couldn't really figure out if it rewarded extra points for T-spins, Tetrises and speed :S
