Something I noticed a while ago but never came around to ask due to inactivity - why exactly am I being bombarded by blocked connection attempts from the Nielsen company whenever I visit mmo-champion?
It is not only calling up the home page either, every single click on a forum thread results in new connection attempts. Essentially every other click that happens on mmo-champion is registered, or rather attempted.
(I am fully aware ofc as to WHY they would like to spy on me. But is it really necessary to let them do it?)

That said, I have zero idea what the OP is talking about. Whatever it is, he should talk to his ISP because if there's anything, it's on their end, not MMO's.

Well, yes it is advertising!!
And obviously this is not on my ISPs end. I am assuming the sites operators let the company do their "research" here but I would like to know for sure so I can be certain it is not some masterfully hidden adware on my PC that slipped the cracks
would appreciate feedback if anyone else is seeing activity from the a.c. nielsen company when browing mmo-champion
