    GPU - most bang for buck?

    So I'm sitting here on a page where you choose the parts and they build the computer, and I have to choose between Geforce GTX 560 OC, silent ''coolstream edition'' (base), Radeon 6950 (35 Euro pricier than ''base''), and Radeon 6870 (20 euro cheaper than ''base''). From looking at some benchmarks, it seems that the ORDINARY GTX 560 version is on about the same level as Radeon 6870, and that 6950 beats them both with about 8%.

    Question is, what's this cool ''OC silent coolstream edition'', and is it worth upgrading/downgrading it to one of the Radeons?

    I think that the 6950 is a good choice. Unless you ever want to get 3D vision, because AMDs 3D thing isn't really as good imo.

    Personally I'd hit the 6870.
    If you want things real quiet I'd stick with the base.

    Generally you won't notice much difference as far as I'm seeing; all of them are perfectly competitive.

    Thanks - I think I'll stick with the base. Thanks for the answers.

    It's pretty obvious you didn't read the OP's post very thoroughly. >>;
    The site she's ordering from rather obviously doesn't actually have the item available.
