    Problem with Wii

I bought my little brother new Super Mario Bros for Wii.

He played it for an hour or so and after he inside one of those tubes that bring him to next level, the screen went black and he saw the message:

' An error has occured. Please press the eject button to remove the disk, then turn the Wii off.' maybe not exact wording but very similar.

Anyway after that, I can turn on the Wii and get the start screen, but as soon as I put any game disk in (not just super mario) I get the message.

I also get it when I try to access photos in Wii's memory without putting any disk in.

Anyone expirienced something similar, knows how to fix it?

I had a disk reading issue with my Gamecube years back like that, not for my Wii, couldn't tell you what it is.

Never had or heard of a friend having a similar problem. You could try updating your Wii or contacting the Nintendo representative near your house.

Look for a local console repair shop, there is one near my house that can repair this and or problems with the xbox and the ps3 for like 50 bucks, They are usually good and reliable.
