Singleplayercommands and Toomanyitems. The first one allows a wide variety of commands including flying. The second one allows access to all the items in game by just pressing E. Alas they can both be used in-game resulting in a better experience because you don't have to close and open Minecraft repeatedly.
Thanks. Yea it is, just changed a bit. But yeah that was the base of my design.
Yup. One of my wife's buildings.
That looks so damn good. I've wanted to build a Legitimate city for a long time. Yours looks amazing.
I don't use mods. I inventory edit for special blocks and tools now (though we did start with not doing that). We can't fly or mass produce areas on my server.

Justin what skin/mod is that your using with minecraft looks good. The cobble stone and what not look different from normal?
Science has made us gods even before we are worthy of being men: Jean Rostand. Yeah, Atheism is a religion like bald is a hair colour!.
Classic: "The tank is the driver, the healer is the fuel, and the DPS are the kids sitting in the back seat screaming and asking if they're there yet."
Irony >> "do they even realize that having a state religion IS THE REASON WE LEFT BRITTEN? god these people are idiots"
As someone whose childhood revolved around Legos I just might have to give this a try.
It's the Borderlands texture pack.

Not something that took forever, but it was still something xD Me and my friend wanted to make something "big"
Oh and by the way, it's my friend who took the picture. I have bought Minecraft myself.

lol very creative!
I never even conceived doing something like that. That is well done.
Yeah, I guess for those huge works it's indeed needed. I'm playing survival on normal difficulty and mining everything myself, but then again, I saved up all my cobblestone from when I started playing, and use wood to smelt it back to normal stone instead of coal. Probably not the fastest way, but I enjoy it more like this. But of course, to each their own. It's always funny when working on a masterpiece and you see a creeper walking not far from you
Yes it's a 1:1 scale of the famous Money Bin.
I won't post the Minecraftforum link here but if you guys want to take a look at my project just Google search; "[COMPLETE] Scrooge McDuck's Money Bin", there is a download link for my save with the Money Bin on it there +pictures of me building it
I don't play anymore, but here's what I was working on. The dirt was just a filler of course. It was going to become a huge castle town. The flying carpet was the only cheat I had. Every piece of material was farmed and crafted by hand.

I believe I enjoy building things from scratch and only from materials I've gathered. It usally means my things are less stylized, and more practical, but I find it relaxing, and a random creeper keeps it interesting.
I also tend to create a mob farm and collect enough TnT to blow it up my creations in the end.
Very nice Scrooge McDuck money bin you got there Grumlin.
And Trolls! That is fucking awesome looking. Great dragon, it would look bad ass in brick or various shades of wool.
Playing only on multiplayer on a server that has no mods enabled, so don't have access to editors, mods etc. so it's all built by hand, so I won't make any humongous projects anytime soon, even those two here took a while and continue to do so.
The dome will be a sphere someday, in the mean time, to get some nice results in a reasonable time I decided to alter my goal a bit. I'll lower each quarter by about 11 blocks, so the quarter with the trees etc., the right one in the big interior shot, will be as it is, the one beyond 11 blocks lower, the one left of that yet another 11 blocks lower, and then the last one, left in the big interior shot, will be the lowest. Each quarter will feature... something. Trees, plants, gras on the top one, don't know about the others yet.
The beginnings of first lowered quarter can be seen in the second interior shot.
Once that's done I will keep working on the interior of those quarters/under them, making them hollow so I can tear them down someday to have just the hollow shere.
My dome - still very much a work in progress, but it's going slow, damn water on the inside.

Those are freaking impressive. I like how you use lava and water in your creations.
