Meh, it can't hurt to run it just as long as Prime95. You can still say "24 Hr LinX stable", as saying "10 Hr LinX Stable" implies it crashed at 10 hours.

10 Hours of LINX O_O (would understand that of Prime)

If your CPU withstands that, it will withstand anything o.o

Lol even the max length of Linx test is 500 minutes / 8.3 hours.
And i doubt that ANYTHING will stress it that much. In real life PC use / Gaming.

Meh, then run it at max. The more stress, the better. Just increases stability.
I still like Prime 95 better.
Haven't really used LinX, it's just another CPU stress program to me. (Which it is.)

Stresses your CPU much more than Prime. Thats why im basicly asking if i dont need to run it for hours and hours
Youve made your point though. Waiting for others opinions.

When I'm overclocking and stress test, I like to make sure it's stable. So I run out as long as possible. generally just start it up a couple hours before I go to bed, this way I know it's at least somewhat stable before I leave it.

I also make sure my room ambient is warm to start with.

Haha, Running 12288MB memory in LinX for 500 runs is fun :P That takes well over 16 hours or so lol..

So far, LinX seems to stress any CPU extremely well except for Sandybridge. Even with the updated Linpacks that include AVX Instructions for Sandybridge it doesn't stress as hard or use as much versatility to stress as Prime 95
