    Dx11 Gives Me Worse Performance.

I'm running a Phenom II x4 @ 3.6ghz with a gtx 460 @860 core clock. Running Windows 7 and a fresh install of WoW with up to date drivers. Enabling Dx11 gives me worse performance than Dx9. I'd read about other people getting nice performance boosts so this kind of surprised me.

Any ideas why? I thought Dx11 was a performance boost on Dx11 compatible cards.

did you uninstall the old drivers?

There was no other drivers to uninstall, I re installed Windows about a week ago and re downloaded WoW fresh. All my drivers are fine, zero problems in other games. I took a three month hiatus so I don't remember enough to compare my performance then and now. I remember having to run WoW in dx11 because of Deepholm and Twilight Highlands crashed on this card in Dx9 mode. I decided to compare the two since I figured that bug was fixed by now, and was just surprised to see it run much better in Dx9 because it seems it was giving everyone else performance boosts.

i would check with Nvidia. theres a million reasons why you could be taking a FPS hit in Dx11.
