[Solved] Addon Spamming Random numbers into Chat Window

My friend has had this problem for a few months, possibly one of the addons he uses is going haywire and spamming his chat box with numbers all the time.

Best way to check this out is by turning addons off 1 by 1. If this doesnt work let him disable all addons and keep 1 and keep reloging to see. It could be also that 2 addons are fighting and this makes it bug.

Instead of one-by-one he should go with halves. Turn addons A-M on, N-Z off, or try to divide them visually into two equal portions. In the above list that divider would be between "LibSink-2.0" and "SpecialEventsEmbed".
a) If problem occurs in first half, keep dividing further.
b) If problem doesn't occur in first half, disable them, and enable the second half of the addons.
c) If problem doesn't occur in either half, try a different sorting method. ex: turning every second addon/addon-group on.

I'm familiar with the half on - half off technique I was just wondering if someone could give me a heads up on a possible culprit from experience or something by looking through the list. It is a lot of addons to go through.

As an addition to that addon idea, is it not possible to instead of checking for the frequence to maybe echo the result to another chat frame perhaps with a line stating the source ?

Those ideas sound great, would it be possible to write something up? I have no idea when it comes to writing a script from scratch. It happens only at random times so reloading and waiting is tedious.

He used it and the culprit has been identified. So far, so good, about 30 minutes without anything: this popped up with the slash command. RageBar disabled.

its the addon rating buster I use the same one and it does the same crap lol not sure why it is doing this I hope they fix it

You could also put together a regex and search for print(*) inside your AddOns folder ... then you could at least scan through each of them and make an informed decision about commenting ones out that look like spam.
