Dragonwrath officially has no internal cooldown and can procc off of anything (Blue)

Dragonwrath is designed to be DOT-friendly. Simply put, it has a chance to copy each tick of a DOT spell. There is no internal cooldown, since we want it to be good for warlocks and Shadow priests.

Furthermore, the proc chance is adjusted favorably for pet specs that derive a significant portion of their DPS from pets.

Our goal is to tune Dragonwrath in such a way that you can give it to any caster without anticipating certain classes or specs getting a bigger benefit than others.

Some people like to stay out of the General cesspool and discuss topics that only involve raids and dungeons in... the Raids and Dungeons forum.

On Topic: While Arcane Blast procs for 60k are cool, so are 60 1k DoT ticks. Or 30 1k DoT ticks and a 30k Mind Blast proc. Or 30k Lava Burst procs with 20k Lightning Bolt procs inbetween. The only major benefit that it would now give an Arcane Mage over other classes is that it saves them mana.

seems to favour more 'colldown' based classes as if during a fight it procs x number of times the rng of it with no icd means if you get extra procs during a burst cd of your own it's multiplied as i assume it will copy the '+cooldown damadge and not the base?

also doe anyone know if the staff proc can crit?
