Except AMD isn't releasing anything to compete with LGA 2011. 2nd Gen Bulldozer doesn't come until 2012, which is scheduled to compete with Ivy Bridge 1155, not 2011.

I just wanted to add that the AM3+ socket will have a very short life cycle accoring to this source: http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/cpu...2012-roadmap/1 as AMD plans a new socket for the 2nd generation Bulldozers.
