Prot Warrior PvP

Is this still possible? I don't see alot of warrior rolling prot, and my main is a Prot ( he's a low level since I hate my hunter). What are your thoughts on Tanks playing pvp and dominating. I'm not much of a pvp'er , but I want to get into some rated battlegrounds, and areans when I hit 85. Swifty went prot few times, but he is an above average player in my opinion. What are your thoughts ?

PS: I love being a big tauren and shield slamming someone in the face.

I prot pvp. I don't know what you want to do with it? Do you want to survive longer or try to kill people?

If you want to be a survivor, just gem into resilence/yellow and resilence/stamina/green.
